Cozy and atmospheric log villa, built in 1999. Location on own quiet lakeside plot in Vuokatti, on the shore of Lake Nuasjärvi (distance to the lake from the cottage 30 m, length of the lake 30 km, width 5 km). The beach is deep, rocky shore, hard gravel/sand bottom. Own shoreline approx. 300 meters, large pier and rowing boat. The cottage is 106 m², on two floors. In the spacious and bright living room, a dining set for 6-8, and a spacious plush sofa. In the living areas, a massive and atmospheric fireplace, hearth, and oven combination. Downstairs, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (width 160 cm, can be made into separate beds if necessary) and the other with two separate beds (width 90 cm). In the low loft, two frame beds (80 cm) and mattresses. The bathroom has a shower, an electrically heated indoor sauna and a toilet. There is a separate, traditional beach sauna (12 m²) on the beach, with wood-heated stove and electric light. The beach sauna is available all year round, note. from the beginning of October to the end of April, water for the beach sauna from the tap or bathroom. The sauna and cottage have their own terrace areas. Grill shed/cottage kitchen and gas grill. Children's equipment: bathtub, high chair, travel bed, baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, toys for children. Additional equipment: Stereos, PlayStation3, induction stove, tumble dryer. Well-maintained cozy and sunny, but wooded slope plot. Peaceful location, on the shore of a large, fishy body of water. In connection with the main building, a sun terrace of approx. 70 m2 facing south and sun loungers. The neighboring cottage is 8105 (no direct line of sight). Firewood is included in the rent. The cabin is available from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 12 noon on the day of departure, also for weekend bookings. Pets allowed. Note the cabin's water comes from the municipal water network (excellent drinking water quality). This log cottage by the Lake Pikku-Valkeinen in Välikoski area in Sotkamo was completed in 1983. Floor area 25 m². Combined living room & kitchen, 2 convertible chairs/beds. Washroom, dressing room, sauna (heated with wood), wc. Lake Pikku-Valkeinen has muddy bottom, but sand has been brought there. However, there might be soft surface of humus on top of hard bottom. Kajaani, 70 km, Sotkamo 25 km. Vuokatti ski slope 30 km, Spa 33 km. Ski trails 25 km. Hiidenportti National Park (old-growth forests and ravines) about 20 km. Own beach 20 m, a boat available (no possibility to rent an outboard motor). The area has nice facilities for fishing (Välikoski). The cottage is on arrival day from 16.00, departure day until 12:00, including a weekend stay. Cottage final cleaning and bed linen can be booked at extra cost. Pets allowed at extra fee.

Located on the side of a stream (30 m) connecting to Iso-Sapsojärvi, a separate log cabin for a peaceful vacation and enjoying nature in Sotkamo. The cottage built in 2002, living space of 60 m² on the ground floor and 60 m² on upper floor. A separate kitchen corner with an atmospheric wood stove. In the living room kitchen there is a fireplace and a dining set for 6 people. In the living room, a good-sized sofa and an armchair. Upstairs, a motor bed (as a double bed), and 2 x 120 cm wide separate beds, in the same space, but partly demarcated into a sleeping space with wardrobe. From the upper floor there is access to a small balcony, with a view of the courtyard sauna and the stream. Wood-heated sauna (hot water from the heater) + dressing room. Access to the stream from the sauna is via stairs, and at the end of the stairs is a platform / terrace and a ladder. The courtyard sauna is available all year round. Note the stream is not suitable for swimming (natural mud bottom). On the beach there is a campfire place and a porch with a door. A rowing boat is available to get to Sapsojärvi (distance approx. 400 m), if you are boating, please bring your own life jackets. At the end of the stream, at the head of the promontory on the Sapsojärvi side, there is a good sandy swimming spot available (with another cabin), there are old buildings on the beach that are not used by tenants, but you can otherwise use the beach freely. Note there is also a separate shed building, with sleeping loft with alternative beds for 2 (if you want privacy). The use of the shed can be negotiated separately with the maintenance. Shed can be available during the summer. The cottage is at your disposal from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 12:00 on the day of departure, also for weekend bookings. Pets are not allowed at the cottage, however, the property is not suitable for people with allergies, as the owner's own dog occasionally visits the cottage. There is no direct line of sight to the neighborhood from the yard area, but the neighbor's boat can be seen further away on the opposite bank of the stream. Waste sorting (mixed and bio), as well as cardboard, glass and metal at the cottage. Bed linen (sheets and towels) can be reserved for an additional fee. Final cleaning is included in the price.
