The rocky hill is only a few hundred meters from the parking area, but you can also hike from here to Poikeljärvi and back, making the total length of the trail about 10 km. The lean-to shelter is about half a kilometer from Onnenkoski café, and if you continue the hiking trail in that direction, you will arrive at Pahamäki, approx. 5 km away.
