30 km west of Savonlinna, L.Iijärvi 20 m (length 4 km, width 0.6 km), hard sand bottom, shallow shore, (suitable for children), gently deepening, mud further out, jetty, own boat. Log cottage 1996, partly renovated 2011 and 2015, living room/kitchen convertible sofa/double bed, bedroom double bed, sauna (electric stove), washroom shower and WC, porch. Fridge-freezer. Air source heat pump. Gas grill. Woodshed and a shelter for waste container on the yard, built in 2014. For rent there is a wood fired hot tub. The tub will be transported on site for an agreed period and is mounted on a trailer chassis. The tub is available for rent all year, but from November 1 to March 30 there is a freezing limit of -10 Celcius and a maximum rental period of 2 days. The tub should be booked directly from the owner at least 2 weeks before the holiday. The tub is also rented outside the cottage, so make sure you book it early enough. The tub will be delivered on the day of order (in check in day 16:00 and 12:00 on other days). The first heating is provided by the renter, heating time approx 2-3 hours. The price includes filling (lake water) and emptying and washing after use. If the rental period is longer, any water changes are made by the renter himself. Sauna (electric stove), bathroom with shower, WC and dressing room. Outbuilding in summer use, built in 2004, 16 m², 2 beds, electric heating and electric light, woodshed. In summer use separate sauna on the cottage yard (it is not a lakeside sauna) with wood fired stove, dressing room with sleeping sofa for two persons, (no shower). Water has to be carried from the main cottage (there is a faucet on the main cottage's outer wall for that), electricity. The owner collects a deposit of 150 e in advance to her account. TV visibility is partly poor in the area. Charging electric and hybrid cars at the cottage is prohibited. Cabin Hevonkuusi is a spacious and bright architect-designed complex in a peaceful location. Great view of lake Saimaa from both main building and sauna.
