Käpälämäki offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquility of a large lake. This planed log cabin with insulated walls, built in 2000, is well-maintained, and cozy. Inner walls of the cabin are paneled. Situated on the shore of Lake Iso-Vietonen, 40 km from Pello and 70 km from Rovaniemi. The beach has a sand bottom, making it child-friendly. The cabin rental price includes a rowing boat, and there's an option to rent a 4hp, 2-stroke outboard motor from the owner (the customers bring their own fuel). The living room/kitchen has a sofa bed, providing a comfortable living area. There's a double bed in one bedroom, and in another, there's a pull-out bed and a separate bed, accommodating several guests. The bathroom has a shower and a WC. The main building doesn't include a sauna, but there's a traditional Finnish sauna by the lake with a steam room and living area. The sauna has a wood-burning sauna stove and a cauldron heated by wood. Water for the sauna is fetched from the lake (or the main cabin). In addition, there's a cooking hut by the shore to prepare delicious meals.

Located on the border of Rovaniemi and Pello, a short distance to both. 53 km to the west from Rovaniemi, 47 km to the east from Pello, lake Raanujärvi 45 m (length 12 km, width 3 km), shallow beach, soft bottom, pier, rowing boat. Log paneled cabin, built in 1997. Living room / kitchen with two sofa beds, upstairs a double bed and two single beds (beds are 1 m wide), steep stairs to the loft, washroom / toilet, covered terrace and balcony. Lakeside sauna with steam room, dressing room and a terrace. The sauna has an electric light. Water can be pumped from the lake in summer, at other times the water must be carried with a bucket or transported by a sleigh from the cabin (35 m). There is no indoor sauna in the cabin. Campfire site by the lake. The fireeood available to the customer are in front of the warehouse. If the trees run out, the customer must purchase more himself. Pets are allowed, but please add final cleaning to your reservation if you have a pet with you.

Planed log cabin, built in 1995. Facilities on three floors, sauna, washroom, spacious room with 2 beds and separate WC on the ground floor. Living room with sofa bed for one person, kitchen (no door), balcony and WC on the mid floor. 4 single beds and balcony on the spacious upper floor. A lean-to on the beach with a fire pit and barbecue area in front. Quiet location without neighbors. You can swim directly from the sauna.

150 km north-west of Tornio, on Swedish side, River Kalixjoki 150 m, Jockfall waterfall 200 m, public shore, public swimming shore 300 m. Wooden house 1938, renovated 2008, rooms on 3 storeys, kitchen, dining room/living room, TV room, “hunters' bar”, 4 bedrooms each with 2 beds (one room with own WC and shower), 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds plus top bunk, 1 bedroom 1 bed, sauna, washroom, room with fireplace, glazed terrace, large open balcony. Kitchenette, living room, alcove 2 beds, sleeping loft (steep stairs) 4 matresses, open veranda. Lakeside sauna (8 m2), dressing room, electric light.

Villa Vuorso is a nice holiday cabin located between Rovaniemi and Pello, about 60 km to the west from Rovaniemi and 35 km to the east from Pello. The cabin is located on a flat lawn plot on by a big lake Raanujärvi. The cabin has several amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. The beach near the cabin is shallow and has sand and clay bottom. The cabin also has own rowing boat, so you can go boating or fishing on the lake whenever you want. The cabin has two floors: Ground floor: %E2%80%A2 Room where you can spend time together. %E2%80%A2 Separate kitchen where you can prepare food. %E2%80%A2 Bedroom with one bed. %E2%80%A2 Electrically heated sauna. %E2%80%A2 Washroom and WC. %E2%80%A2 Terrace from which you can admire the lake view and enjoy the fresh air. Upper floor: %E2%80%A2 Bedroom with double bed. %E2%80%A2 Two beds in the lobby. %E2%80%A2 Balcony where you can admire the scenery of the lake and enjoy the fresh air. It is important to note that the stairs to the upper floor are steep. The yard sauna is equipped with electricity and underfloor heating. Here you can enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna. Water for the sauna can be taken from the water tap in the yard or from the lake (10 meter distance).

Villa White Water is a wonderful destination next to the longest free-flowing Tornion River in Europe, on the banks of the Vuenonkoski rapids, only 30 meters from the river. From the terrace of the cottage and the lean-to on the shore, there are great views of the far upstream rapids, and especially the spring ice break is a wonderful experience. Villa White Water is a two-story Honkarakenne holiday home with thermal log construction. It has 80 m2, a living room, a kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, the first has 2 beds (width 90 cm), the second bedroom has a double bed (width 160 cm, beds available separately). The loft has 2 beds (width 80 cm). Electric sauna, washroom (1 shower) and a separate toilet. The cottage has underfloor heating, an air-source heat pump and a fireplace. The west terrace opening onto the river is the entire length of the house, where you can grill and relax. There is a carport and a large lockable storage room in the yard. There is a floodlit ski trail at Ainiovaara ski resort (20 km) and skiing is possible on the slopes of Aavasaksa (25 km). The border crossing to Sweden is 25 km north of the cottage at Aavasaksa. The Tornionjoki River is famous for its salmon and whitefish and fishing is possible from the cottage shore. The current is strong, so it is not suitable for swimming. There are great berry picking opportunities in the area.
