There's a double bed in one bedroom, and in another, there's a pull-out bed and a separate bed, accommodating several guests. The bathroom has a shower and a WC. The main building doesn't include a sauna, but there's a traditional Finnish sauna by the lake with a steam room and living area. The sauna has a wood-burning sauna stove and a cauldron heated by wood. Water for the sauna is fetched from the lake (or the main cabin). In addition, there's a cooking hut by the shore to prepare delicious meals. Käpälämäki is especially suitable for families, fishing enthusiasts, and anyone looking to experience genuine Finnish cabin culture. Also, the tourism services in Rovaniemi and Pello are reasonably accessible. Pets are welcome at this vacation spot (additional fee per reservation). Iso-Vietonen is known as a good fishing lake with species like pike-perch, trout, perch, pike and whitefish. The nearest boat launch spot to the lake is Vietosenhieta, around 20 km by road from the cabin (6 km by water).
