A ski trail is located approximately 2.5 km southwest of the cabin. Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is about 4 km southwest, Pallas Ski Resort is 30 km south, and Levi Ski Resort 74 km south of the cabin.

Tervetuloa Villa Mellaan! Tämä v 2025 valmistunut mökki tarjoaa hienot puitteet rentouttavaan lomaan luonnon keskellä. Villa Mella sopii niin perheille, ystäväporukoille kuin aktiivisille ulkoilijoille. Hiihtämään pääsee suoraan mökin ovelta laduille. Rovaniemeltä 250 km pohjoiseen, lähellä Raattamaa Yli-Kyrössä, Pallastunturin maisemissa. Lähellä sijaitsevalle Hommajärvelle on matkaa n. 70 m (pituus 230 m, leveys 170 m), rannalla on yhteiskäytössä oleva laituri ja laavu. Lisäksi 250 m päässä on Vuontisjärvi, jonka rannassa on venevalkama. Siitä pääsee uimaan, ranta on pitkälti matalaa kovaa pohjaa. Mökissä on olohuone-keittiö ja 3 makuuhuonetta, joissa jokaisessa on kaksi 80 cm sänkyä (voidaan yhdistää parisängyksi). Lisäksi on puulämmitteinen sauna, pesuhuone, wc ja kodinhoitohuone, joka toimii myös pukuhuoneena. Suksien huoltotila on käytännöllinen tila talviurheilijoille sisältäen suksien voitelutelineen, pöytätilaa ja hyllyjä. Vuokraan sisältyy normaaliin käyttöön tarvittavat polttopuut. Lisää puita voi tilata omistajalta lisämaksusta. Mökissä on avokuisti, osittain katettu terassi sekä autokatos. Distance to the Vuontisjärvi beach is 250 m, rowing boat available (no own private beach). In winter, two pairs of snowshoes are used - sizes L and XL, and two pairs of telescopic poles.
