Kätkä is a peacefully located holiday cabin with amenities by the lake. Lakeside sauna and good sand beach. The salmon fishing spots of Muonionjoki and the state owned hunting areas are easily accessible. 27 km to the north from Muonio municipality center, lake Kätkäjärvi 25 m (length 2,7 km, width 0,7 km), shallow beach with sand bottom, own rowing boat. The cabin is built of planed logs. On the ground floor, living room / kitchen, bedroom with double bed, washroom/WC and covered terrace. On the upper floor, 2 beds, another is 120 cm wide, balcony. In addition, one extra mattress that can be placed in different places. Lakeside sauna with steam room and dressing room. Sauna is equipped with wood-burning sauna stove and water tank connected to the sauna stove. The tank will be used for water heating. Water to the sauna must be brought from the lake (10 m) or from the cabin (20 m) by using a bucket. Outdoor hut with campfire site.

On the upper floor, second bedroom with double bed, third bedroom with 2 single beds that can be attached into double bed. WC also on the upper floor. A storage. Note: Pets are prohibited from 29.4.2024, in new bookings. Not recommended for people with allergies, because there have been pets in the past.

On the ground floor, you will find spacious living areas, including a combined kitchen and living room where you can enjoy shared meals and relax. The ground floor bedroom is furnished with two beds, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Completing the amenities on this floor are a sauna with an electric stove, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and an entrance hall with ample storage space for outdoor clothing and equipment. The upper floor features two bedrooms, each equipped with two beds (with sloping ceilings, creating a cozy atmosphere). Additionally, there are two additional beds on the loft. The upper floor also includes a separate toilet and a balcony where you can admire the surrounding nature and enjoy the fresh air. The cottage is complemented by an outdoor storage room, where you can keep outdoor gear and supplies. Furthermore, the cottage provides additional amenities for your convenience, including a high chair for children, a central vacuum cleaner, two sets of snowshoes, and sleds. The cabin is situated in the village of Suvanto, next to Pyhätunturi fell. This is the only village complex that survived the destruction of World War II. This cabin is an architecturally designed silverlog cabin, unique design. The cabin has a high ceiling, and a low loft encircles the upper floor. 57 km north of Kemijärvi. Nearest neighbor is cottage no. 16005, distance 30 m, no neighbors at all on other side. Pyhätunturi fell 20 km, Luosto 35 km. River Kitinen/ Lake Kokkonen 30 m, opposite shore 300 meters away, shallow, hard sand bottom, shore partly shared + boat. Silverlog cottage built in 1990. Kitchenette, living room/kitchen, upstairs with 2 small bedrooms 2 beds in each, sleeping loft with 2 mattresses, washroom, sauna (elec. stove), open porch. Roofed grill shared with neighbor cabins (no. 16005, 16019, 16020). The fireplace is a metal fireplace with doors. Steep stairs for upstairs. To ensure a smooth holiday, we always recommend ordering a final cleaning in advance. If you have a pet you need to add pet fee for booking.

Atmospheric, high quality cabin with lots of space on excellent location right next to the skiing-tracks. Distance to the skibus stop is only a few hundred meters, and 1km to the shops and ski-lifts. There is a beautiful view to the Pyhätunturi fell from the cabin's living room, and there is an easy access to hiking trails and snowmobile tracks. Ideal for family vacations and business meetings in every season. Downstairs: kitchen/living room, bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with 2 showers, sauna (electric stove), toilet, SkiRoom and terrace. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 2 beds in each room, balcony in one room, toilet. Child equipment: 2x baby cots, 2x high chairs and a potty. There is also a sled and a snowracer. The cabin was built in 1990 and has been renovated in 2021. Pets are welcome against an additional pet fee.
