The log house was built in the 1920s and was renovated and equipped with modern amenities in 1990. The wall surfaces are covered and partially paneled inside. Gates are installed at both the top and bottom of the stairs for safety. Ounasmosku is located in the village scenery of Tepasto by the Tepastokoski rapids. The beach is just 20 meters away.
