Enjoy your stay in this beautiful kelo log villa built in 2006, in a peaceful Maahinen area in Äkäslompolo village. The villa has plenty of space even for two families or a holiday among relatives. The ground floor has two bedrooms with beds for two each and the loft has beds for four persons. Four beds on the upper floor are 90 cm wide and one is 120 cm wide (please note that cottage can be booked maximum for 8 persons). Both floors have own toilets. The upper floor is also equipped with a working space for remote work with electric table. Heated maintenance room next to the garage. The plug for the car heater is in the electrical cabinet. Please bring an extension cord. Smoking prohibited. Bed linen available for rent. High chair, potty and children's dishes available, there are baby gates at both ends of the stairs. Pets are allowed for an additional fee, max. 2 pets/reservation. Pets are allowed only in downstairs. In the yard dog enclosure 3 x 4 meters. Inside the enclosure Jämpt's dog kennel. Not suitable for dogs who like digging, the enclosure is not immersed in the ground.

The building is divided into two separate sections, allowing for both private and common time to be arranged effortlessly. In the other section, you can relax in the sauna or by the fireplace, and it can also be used for overnight stays if needed. Cottage Metsä-Luosto is silver log built cosy and peaceful cottage and located in the walking distance from the services in Luosto. Location is peaceful by the pond Ahvenlampi. Cottage is suitable for meetings and family parties as well as for business use. There are 8 double bedrooms, additionally convertible sofas in three of these bedrooms. Kitchen, separate dining room, big living room, 4 toilets with shower. Drying cabinet in the hall. In the kitchen there are 2 big refridgerators, freezer and dishwasher. Electric heated, spacious (80 m²) lake-side sauna in the separate building, 3 showers and toilet. Metsä-Luosto is protected as a valuable building heritage site. Its old part was built in 1975. The model was the old forestry cabins, so the room distribution is in accordance with them. The goal of the design has been to combine a modest, nature-friendly exterior with the interiors of its time. The accommodation wing was built in the mid-1970s, and the beach sauna and outbuildings in the 1980s. The rooms in the accommodation wing do not have mechanical ventilation, only ventilation windows. To ensure good air quality, the customer should open the ventilation window whenever necessary. Charging an electric car is not permitted without agreeing on terms/additional fees with the owner. In Pyhä-Luosto area there are plenty of things to do (for example hiking, skiing) and also guided tours are available. There is no grill, but it is about 80 m to the common open shelter with campfire. Downstairs living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sauna, washroom/toilet and a large, covered terrace. Upstairs bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with 120 cm wide bed and sofa bed, WC and balcony. One movable mattress, which can be placed as needed. Old lakeside sauna cabin can be used from the beginning of June to the end of September. Sauna cabin has s steam room and fireplace room. In the living room with fireplace there is 120 cm wide bed, refrigerator and gas stove. Water to the sauna must be brought by using a bucket from the lake or from the water supply with hose. There is a bus connection to Sallatunturi from most trains arriving in Kemijärvi and from most flights arriving in Kuusamo (bus stop approx. 700 m away). Check the validity of the schedules in advance. The services of Sallatunturi can be easily reached from Mirkunranta. Illuminated ski trail is within 350 m. The snowmobile trail network is also conveniently accessible from the cabin. Mokko is a cozy little house located in idyllic Kierinki village, which is in a nationally significant landscape area in Central Lapland. Kierinki is one of the few villages saved from the devastation of war in Lapland. There are services like village shop, café, art gallery, private restaurant, small hotel, holiday apartments, program service companies offering nature experiences and snowmobile rental. 112 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 65 km to the southwest from Sodankylä municipality center in Kierinki village milieu. Wooden house, originally built in 1962, renovated and renewed in 2012. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 motorized beds, second bedroom with bunk bed (2x70cm). Sauna, washroom, separate WC, cellar (access from inside the house) and a covered and partially glazed terrace. The cabin is heated primarily with electric radiators and an air source heat pump. A wood-burning baking oven and a wood stove are secondary and mainly sources of heat that bring comfort. Guests can use a 7-speed women's bike and a 24-speed men's bike, sport and traditional propeller, poles and snowshoes. The snowmobile trail network passes through the village shop. There is a fuel sales in the village shop. Therefore, this destination is ideal for snowmobilers. Several other activities available like hunting/fishing and organized excursions (for example snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and fishing trips). Snowmobile safaris and guided ice fishing trips can also be booked from the owner. The swimming beach, fireplace and lean-to shelter maintained by the village association on Riipijoki, distance 1 km. The restaurant next to the village shop is a cozy and private restaurant named Hietalan talo, which serves Lappish food in an authentic and atmospheric milieu. There are also many cultural events arranged in the village (www.kierinki.com). 100 m² artist studio/art exhibition space (for working and holding an exhibition) can be booked from the owner of the cabin. The studio is approx. 500 m from the cabin, near the riverbank, in the middle of the village. The space is heated by electricity, gas and a stove. There is no water pipe, but the owner takes care of the water. Outdoor toilet in the yard. Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands, 2613 Maunu (see www.eraluvat.fi) within 15 km distance. Other hunting destinations 3606 Vasaselkä and 3617 Pomo-Rajala can be easily reached too. Fishing: Fishing in lakes (including large and fishy lake Unarinjärvi) is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information, see www.eraluvat.fi.
