The upper floor offers more sleeping space: a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. In addition, there's a loft area with a double bed, a TV space with a pull-out sofa bed, and a balcony offering scenic views of the surrounding nature. There's a ski maintenance room available for ski upkeep, an excellent amenity for winter sports enthusiasts. In the yard, there's a cooking hut, providing an opportunity for outdoor activities and cooking. This cabin offers versatile space and amenities for both families and groups of friends, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and outdoor life in the Sallatunturi area. The Lysti cabin was built in 1990. Key services of the Sallatunturi area are just over 1 km away. The nearest ski slope is 1.5 km away, Salla Sports Centre is 1.7 km away, and the spa hotel is 1.5 km away. A public beach is at 2.5 km, equipped with barbecue and campfire spots, both in a hut and outdoors. The national park boundary is 2.5 km away. Salla Wilderness Park (formerly Reindeer Park), showcasing the nature, hiking opportunities, and cultural history of the national park and its vicinity, is 3 km away. The igloo is perfect for observing the northern lights and the starry sky in winter, enjoying the nightless night in summer, fishing, or for example a romantic stay. 58 km to the southeast from Rovaniemi, lake Siika-Kämä 25 m, (length 2 km, width 800 m), gently deepening beach, sand bottom, pier, own rowing boat. Sauna with wood-burning sauna stove, washroom/WC in connection with the sauna, access to the sauna via the porch. On the terrace, there is a 5-person hydro massage bath outdoors that can be rented for an additional fee. On the beach, a partially glass-walled igloo-style cabin with double bed. The igloo has heating, lighting, kitchenette (gas stove, fridge, sink) and chemical toilet. The igloo has a small terrace, which is suitable for staying outside on the water. The power source is an electric motor, which can be used to drive the igloo cabin on the lake in the summer. In winter, the igloo can be moved by using a snowmobile. Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per reservation. %E2%80%AF Lystikämän Elämys is located in a safe private area, in the middle of nice lake landscape on the owner's farm. Good fishing waters right off the beach. Fish species in the lake: pike perch, pike and perch. Good terrains for picking berries, including cloudberries. Guests have access to 1 km long nature trail with lean-to shelter and campfire site. These facilities are shared with two other cabins in the area. There are sheep and chickens on the owner's farm in the summer time (between 15.6. and 30.9.). Guests are welcome to visit and observe the animals. In winter, sledding hill for children. Sleds are available. The owner makes a ski trail starting from the yard of the cabin, length is about 5 km. Possibility to rent snowshoes. This snowmobile is small-sized and slower than many other snowmobiles, that is why it is ideal for ice fishing trip for example. Pick up service from the airport by an extra fee. Occasionally the owner might bring sheeps also in a corral at the cottage. Guest can visit the owner's farm to see the animals. The owner makes skiing tracks (length of about 5 km) from the yard of the cottage. Sledding hill and snow sledges available. Enjoy your stay in this beautiful kelo log villa built in 2006, in a peaceful Maahinen area in Äkäslompolo village. The villa has plenty of space even for two families or a holiday among relatives. The ground floor has two bedrooms with beds for two each and the loft has beds for four persons. Four beds on the upper floor are 90 cm wide and one is 120 cm wide (please note that cottage can be booked maximum for 8 persons). Both floors have own toilets. The upper floor is also equipped with a working space for remote work with electric table. Heated maintenance room next to the garage. The plug for the car heater is in the electrical cabinet. Please bring an extension cord. Smoking prohibited. Bed linen available for rent. High chair, potty and children's dishes available, there are baby gates at both ends of the stairs. Pets are allowed for an additional fee, max. 2 pets/reservation. Pets are allowed only in downstairs. In the yard dog enclosure 3 x 4 meters. Inside the enclosure Jämpt's dog kennel. Not suitable for dogs who like digging, the enclosure is not immersed in the ground.
