Cottage Metsä-Luosto is silver log built cosy and peaceful cottage and located in the walking distance from the services in Luosto. Location is peaceful by the pond Ahvenlampi. Cottage is suitable for meetings and family parties as well as for business use. There are 8 double bedrooms, additionally convertible sofas in three of these bedrooms. Kitchen, separate dining room, big living room, 4 toilets with shower. Drying cabinet in the hall. In the kitchen there are 2 big refridgerators, freezer and dishwasher. Electric heated, spacious (80 m²) lake-side sauna in the separate building, 3 showers and toilet. Metsä-Luosto is protected as a valuable building heritage site. Its old part was built in 1975. The model was the old forestry cabins, so the room distribution is in accordance with them. The goal of the design has been to combine a modest, nature-friendly exterior with the interiors of its time. The accommodation wing was built in the mid-1970s, and the beach sauna and outbuildings in the 1980s. The rooms in the accommodation wing do not have mechanical ventilation, only ventilation windows. To ensure good air quality, the customer should open the ventilation window whenever necessary. Charging an electric car is not permitted without agreeing on terms/additional fees with the owner. In Pyhä-Luosto area there are plenty of things to do (for example hiking, skiing) and also guided tours are available. There is no grill, but it is about 80 m to the common open shelter with campfire. Meal services available from the restaurants in the area, for example Restaurant Punakettu / Red Fox (www.punakettu.fi/en). The cabin can be reached by car during the whole year. Free Wlan interner access and 4K tv. ATTN. If you are planning to have party or other event please notice that the maximum number of persons is 19 and this can not be exceeded, not even temporarily. One set of bed linen incl. sheets and a bath towel. Reservation starts at 4 pm (16 o'clock) on arrival day and ends at noon (12 o'clock) on departure day (also on weekends).

30 km west of Rovaniemi, River Sonkajoki (at a broader point, where river width is approximately 200 m) 70 m, located in a small holiday village, shallow shore, sand bottom, boat in shared use, shore shared. There are 3 jettys and campfire place on the shore. Heat hardened log chalet 2010, living room/kitchen convertible sofa, bedroom double bed, 2 bedrooms in both 2 beds, child's travel bed, sauna (electric stove), washroom, separate WC, large open porch (40 m²). Spacious, high standard chalet in small holiday village area. Nearest neighbour is the restaurant building, 20 m. Chalet is located in a sunny place on top of a ridge. Views down to water course and holiday village area. The cottage is well suited for watching the Northern Lights when they occur. Caravans, camping, mobile homes or hot tub are not allowed on the plot. Please note that charging an electric car is not allowed and it is not allowed to keep the car's interior heater on for more than one hour. Connection to motor sledge routes, distance 3 km. Rovaniemi and Ounasvaara 30 km, Arctic Circle and Father Christmas village 40 km, airport 40 km. Obligatory deposit 150 € has to paid in cash on the spot. 35 km north of Kolari, river Äkäsjoki 100 m, lake Äkäslompolo 6 km, swimming beach 8,5 km. Log cottage. Livingroom/kitchen, three bedrooms, two with 2 separate beds and one with two bunk beds. Log cottage located in the Kolari municipality Kuoppa area (address: Kylmäniementie). Location is a very peaceful forest area on the banks of river Äkäsjoki. Äkäslompolo village center only 6 km away. Pets are allowed. Extra fee for pets (as many fees as many pets). Prices include final cleaning, bed linen available for rent. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).

Villa by the lake near Sallatunturi tourist center (5 km). The fells of the national park are visible behind the lake. Lakeside sauna cabin and rowing boat can be used freely. Pets allowed. 75 km to the east from Kemijärvi, 5 km to the south from the center of Salla, Pyhäjärvi 25 m, shallow and sandy beach, lake length 1.8 km, width 0.7 km. Wooden cabin, built in 2014. Downstairs living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sauna, washroom/toilet and a large, covered terrace. Upstairs bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with 120 cm wide bed and sofa bed, WC and balcony. One movable mattress, which can be placed as needed. Old lakeside sauna cabin can be used from the beginning of June to the end of September. Sauna cabin has s steam room and fireplace room. In the living room with fireplace there is 120 cm wide bed, refrigerator and gas stove. Water to the sauna must be brought by using a bucket from the lake or from the water supply with hose. There is a bus connection to Sallatunturi from most trains arriving in Kemijärvi and from most flights arriving in Kuusamo (bus stop approx. 700 m away). Check the validity of the schedules in advance. The services of Sallatunturi can be easily reached from Mirkunranta. Illuminated ski trail is within 350 m. The snowmobile trail network is also conveniently accessible from the cabin. Mokko is a cozy little house located in idyllic Kierinki village, which is in a nationally significant landscape area in Central Lapland. Kierinki is one of the few villages saved from the devastation of war in Lapland. There are services like village shop, café, art gallery, private restaurant, small hotel, holiday apartments, program service companies offering nature experiences and snowmobile rental. 112 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 65 km to the southwest from Sodankylä municipality center in Kierinki village milieu. Wooden house, originally built in 1962, renovated and renewed in 2012. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 motorized beds, second bedroom with bunk bed (2x70cm). Sauna, washroom, separate WC, cellar (access from inside the house) and a covered and partially glazed terrace. The cabin is heated primarily with electric radiators and an air source heat pump. A wood-burning baking oven and a wood stove are secondary and mainly sources of heat that bring comfort. Guests can use a 7-speed women's bike and a 24-speed men's bike, sport and traditional propeller, poles and snowshoes. The snowmobile trail network passes through the village shop. There is a fuel sales in the village shop. Therefore, this destination is ideal for snowmobilers. Several other activities available like hunting/fishing and organized excursions (for example snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and fishing trips). Snowmobile safaris and guided ice fishing trips can also be booked from the owner. The swimming beach, fireplace and lean-to shelter maintained by the village association on Riipijoki, distance 1 km. The restaurant next to the village shop is a cozy and private restaurant named Hietalan talo, which serves Lappish food in an authentic and atmospheric milieu. There are also many cultural events arranged in the village (www.kierinki.com). 100 m² artist studio/art exhibition space (for working and holding an exhibition) can be booked from the owner of the cabin. The studio is approx. 500 m from the cabin, near the riverbank, in the middle of the village. The space is heated by electricity, gas and a stove. There is no water pipe, but the owner takes care of the water. Outdoor toilet in the yard. Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands, 2613 Maunu (see www.eraluvat.fi) within 15 km distance. Other hunting destinations 3606 Vasaselkä and 3617 Pomo-Rajala can be easily reached too. Fishing: Fishing in lakes (including large and fishy lake Unarinjärvi) is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information, see www.eraluvat.fi. This semi-detached log apartment in Levi offers a cozy atmosphere in the peaceful area of Levijärvi. It's a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy your vacation. The distance to Levijärvi beach is 200 m, which is a peaceful public beach. The apartment, built in 1991, provides space for the whole family or a group of friends, and pets are welcome for an additional fee. The bedroom features two beds, while the living room includes a sofa bed for extra guests. Additionally, there are two additional beds and mattresses in the loft, accessed by steep stairs, so guests should be mindful while moving around. The apartment also features a sauna, a bathroom, and a dressing area. The WC is separate. In connection with the covered terrace, there is a locked storage room where you can store e.g. downhill skis during your stay (the keys are in the coat rack next to the front door). This spacious and stylish log villa, built in 2008, is beautifully located high on Utsuvaara. The villa has three bedrooms. One is on the ground floor, equipped with two 80 cm wide beds, its own shower and WC, and a small private terrace. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms, each with two 80 cm wide beds. Additionally, there are two fold-out mattresses upstairs that serve as extra beds, and there is also a separate WC. The bedrooms have access to a balcony. The well-equipped and spacious kitchen provides excellent facilities for cooking, and the living area has a TV and a cozy fireplace, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The villa also includes a bathroom and sauna area, and there is a second WC on the ground floor. Both the kitchen and the dressing room on the ground floor provide access to the large terrace, which offers stunning views of the surrounding nature. Additional information: The property is located at an altitude of over 340 meters, near the Levi fell. The ski trails and slopes are about 800 meters away.
