Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor. In summer time, the hut is lighted by summer night sun. The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite the changing weather. There are no curtains on the glass roof, so there is as bright as outside (midnight sun during summer). The hut has double bed (160 cm) under a glass roof, sofa bed (140 cm), bio ethanol fireplace, kitchen and washroom/WC. The kitchen has air-fryer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is no dish drying closet in the hut. The digital music player works with a mobile phone's Bluetooth connection, Netflix and Prime Video available with the codes of the owner. Wifi internet access. There are toys for children. Separate sauna and living area. The living area has a separate oven, 2 hotplates, drying cabinet, as well as fireplace which uses bioethanol as a fuel. There is no water supply in the sauna building. Water for the sauna must be carried from the accommodation hut. Igloo-style barbecue hut with bright, transparent walls. The walls are dimmed on the neighbor's side. The barbecue house has an outdoor kitchen and electric lighting. Each building has powder fire extinguisher and a fire blanket. This object uses 100%25 renewable electricity. This destination can be reached easily from the South Finland with a car-carrier train. The car-carrier trains stop at Kemijärvi, from which is 75 km drive distance to the Sallatunturi tourist center. Satakero 3 is located near the Family slope, allowing direct access to the slope on skis. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The nearest ski trail is 200 meters away. There are about 150 km of ski trails available in Pyhä-Luosto area. The Luosto ski resort is about 20 km away, where Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi also has the Amethyst Spa. The hiking trails of Pyhä-Luosto National Park are about 300 meters away, offering summer hikes to Finland's deepest gorge, Isokuru, with the breathtaking Pyhäkaste Waterfall. The hiking trails also provide the opportunity to summit the highest fell in Pyhä-Luosto, Noitatunturi (The Witch Fell), which is 540 meters high. Some of the hiking trails also acts as mountain biking routes, and Pyhä area has several companies that rent mountain and fat bikes for cycling. About 15 km towards Luosto is the Lampivaara Amethyst Mine. The mine is worth visiting, where visitors can dig for a lucky amethyst and take it home. The experience can be crowned by enjoying a coffee and donut at the Lampivaara café afterward.

Welcome to this renovated log cabin, originally an old log cabin that was moved to its current location in 1974. This cabin offers a rustic touch of history combined with modern comfort%E2%80%94and all the versatile services of Luosto are right around the corner. You can reach the ski trails within half a kilometer, and the slopes of Luosto Ski Resort are only one kilometer away. The cabin features a spacious living room/kitchen, three bedrooms (each with two separate 80 cm wide beds), an electric sauna, a washroom, and a separate WC. The cabin has been renovated, yet the atmosphere remains suitably cozy. The front and back terraces are perfect spots for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening, and there is also a proper campfire site in the yard. If desired, you can rent an additional smaller cabin on the property for an extra fee, accommodating 2–3 persons (2 separate 80 cm beds + sofa bed for one). This smaller cabin does not have running water or a WC. The smaller cabin can be booked through the "Other Expenses" additional service. Firewood for the fireplace and campfire site can be freely taken from the firewood shed located in the yard. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. Distances: Pyhä Resort approx. 25 km, Kemijärvi approx. 72 km, Rovaniemi 115 km. The routes of Pyhä-Luosto National Park begin around 2 km away.
