This holiday cabin is easily accessible even without your own car. 2.5 km to the Äkäslompolo village. In Äkäslompolo there are services like shops and restaurants. During the winter season, a trip to the village can be made even with a kick sled, which is freely available to guests during the winter season. Only about a kilometer from the cabin (near the popular café Navettagalleria in Karila area), magnificent outdoor routes directly to the national park and the fell area. The nearest peak to explore is Kukastunturi peak. During winter season 4 pairs of snowshoes in guests' use. Illuminated cross-country ski trails and snowmobile trails also run close to the holiday cabin (cross-country ski trails are within 300 m and snowmobile trails are within 1 km). The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and another with 2 single beds. Living room-kitchen, washroom/WC, sauna (electric sauna stove). Fiber optic connection (Wi-Fi) brings comfort to your holiday. Reservations in this destination cannot start or end on Saturdays.

The nearby Lake Hommajärvi is approx. 70 meters away (230 m long, 170 m wide) and features a shared pier and a lean-to shelter. Additionally, Lake Vuontisjärvi is located 250 meters away, offering a boat dock and swimming opportunities with a long, shallow, firm lake bottom. The cabin features a living room/kitchen and three bedrooms, each furnished with two 80 cm wide beds (which can be combined into double beds). There is also a wood-heated sauna, a washroom, a WC, and a utility room that doubles as a dressing room. A ski maintenance room is available for winter sports enthusiasts, equipped with a waxing bench, workspace, and shelves. The house was originally built in 1968, extended in 1985, and renovated in 2014 and 2024. The ground floor features a living room, kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed (160 cm wide), a wood-heated sauna, and a washroom. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (80 cm wide). The Ounasjoki River is located 1 km away.

Villa Unari is a cozy and well-equipped 85 m² woody cabin built in 1992 and renovated in 2016. It's located by the beautiful lake Unarijärvi near the mouth of the river Meltausjoki. On the ground floor, living room/kitchen with fireplace, bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom with a double bed, washroom, toilet, glassed-in porch, open veranda. On the loft 4 beds and living area. In addition, a separate sauna building with a steam room (wood stove), bathroom (shower) and living room with fireplace and terrace. Washing machine in sauna building. Charging an electric car must always be agreed with the owner in advance. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. Cottage can be rented for maximum 8 persond and additionally extra beds for maximum 4 persons can be arranged in sofa beds for additional fee. Two boxes of firewood are included in the price (one for the sauna and one for the cabin) and after that the owner charges 7€/box for firewood.

The 2007 built 102 m² cabin features a living room/kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a sleeping alcove, a washroom with a WC, a sauna, utility room, a separate WC, as well as upper and lower terraces. The sauna is equipped with a ready-to-use electric stove. Additionally, there is a woodshed and a carport for two cars, along with an electric car charging point. Sleeping arrangements on the ground floor: In the windowless bedroom, there are two beds combined (80x200 cm), and adjacent to the bedroom, there is a sliding-door alcove with two separate beds (80x200 cm). Sleeping arrangements on the upper floor: Both bedrooms have double beds (160x200 cm). For children, the cabin is equipped with a travel crib, high chair, potty, and a child safety gate at the top of the stairs. The stairs to the upper floor are sturdy but somewhat steep. During snow-free seasons, guests have access to a lean-to by Lake Pyhäjärvi, located about 200 meters from the cabin. Directions can be found at the cabin. Outside the cabin, there is a surveillance camera that records when there are no guests present.

In winter, the area also offers a chance for downhill skiing at Aavasaksa Ski Resort, located approx. 35 km away from the cabin. Villa Vaara is an excellent spot for those who want to work remotely while enjoying an inspiring environment. The peaceful and nature-oriented surroundings also offer a chance for relaxation and stress relief. The cabin is located 37 km north of Tornio city center on the banks of the Torne river. The impressive Matkakoski rapids are just 150 m away. The cabin offers a magnificent view of the river. Due to the strong current, the beach is not suitable for swimming. On the ground floor of the cabin, there is a living room/kitchen with a sofa bed. Sauna, shower room/WC are also on this floor, along with a covered terrace. The upper floor has a double bed and one single bed. From the upper floor, there is access to a balcony with a stunning view of the river and the Swedish side. Please note that the stairs leading to the upper floor are steep. There is a shared cooking hut between two cabins. Closer to the beach, there is also a spacious lean-to and a campfire site. This lean-to can also be used by guests from another cabin (Villa Vonka). Final cleaning and pre-made bed linen are included in the rent.

Built of solid logs and heated by geothermal energy, the villa is comprehensively equipped and beautifully decorated. The total usable area is approx. 235 m². The ground floor of this three-story villa has a spacious living area with an atmospheric electric fireplace. The ground floor has one bedroom with 2 beds (width 80 cm) and washing facilities%3B an electric sauna with an always-ready stove and a high-quality bathroom with two showers and a hydro massage bath. In addition, there is a dressing room, separate toilet, and a covered terrace. There is also a ski maintenance room on the ground floor. The middle floor has a well-equipped and spacious kitchen and dining area (table for 10 people). Living room with an atmospheric fireplace, two bedrooms, one with a 180 cm wide double bed and the other with two separate 80 cm wide beds, a separate toilet, a utility room and a large terrace. On the top floor there is a second living room, two bedrooms, one with 2 separate 90 cm wide beds and the other with 2 separate 80 cm wide beds. In addition, there is a separate toilet upstairs. The second bedroom upstairs has a workstation with external monitor. Electric car drivers are served by an 11 kW charging station, the use of which is included in the basic price. However, there isn't any car heating plug at the cottage.
