Trolling and ice fishing are especially popular in the area, and you can catch stocked rainbow trout, as well as perch, pike, grayling, trout, and pike perch. The water levels and total flow in the river Kemijoki are controlled, so water levels and flow may vary. It's not safe to move on the ice near the cabin, but there are several other good spots nearby for ice fishing.
