Additionally, Luosto Ski Resort is about 20 km away, featuring the Amethyst Spa within Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi. Hiking trails in Pyhä-Luosto National Park are 4 km away, offering summer hikes including to Finland's deepest gorge, Isokuru, with the breathtaking Pyhäkate Waterfall. Some hiking trails also serve as mountain biking routes, and several businesses in Pyhä rent out mountain and fat bikes. About 15 km towards Luosto is the worthwhile destination of Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, where visitors can dig for their own lucky amethyst and conclude with coffee and a doughnut at Lampivaara's café.
