Interesting places to visit are e.g. Salla reindeer park (3.5 km) and the Museum of the War and Reconstruction Era in the center of Salla municipality (11 km). Shops can also be found in the Salla municipality center. Salla is easily reachable either by car, by train to Kemijärvi or Rovaniemi, or by flying to Kuusamo.
