40 km north-east of Kolari, lake Ylläsjärvi 3 km, swimming beach 4,5 km. Log cottage, built 2008. Area 120 m² of which 26 m² on the loft. Livingroom/kitchen, in downstairs two bedrooms each with two separate beds, loft with 1bedroom with four separate beds and hall extendable bed sofa, electic sauna, shower, separate toilet. In addition: lockable ski storage and ski maintenance room. It is forbidden to bring hot tub to the cottage.

Hot tub, summer kitchen, covered cooking area and boat with outboard motor available. 55 km to the east from Rovaniemi, lake Vanttausjärvi 20 m (length 6 km, width 2.5 km), shallow, artificially sanded beach, pier, rowing boat and outboard 5 hp. The outboard motor will be delivered with a full fuel tank and customer also returns the engine with full fuel tank (2-stroke engine). The cabin lies under a steep hill, so a four-wheel drive car is recommended for those booking this cabin in the winter. Round log cabin, built in 1980, renovated and modernized in 2021. Water pipe from the municipal network. Living room / kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, bedroom has folding door, loft with 2 beds, separate WC. Lakeside sauna with shower in the sauna room, dressing area. The sauna has wood-burning sauna stove and underfloor heating. Next to the sauna, there is a hot tub embedded in the terrace. The hot tub is heated by dieseloil. The hot tub is available in summer and in winter. Guests can heat the hot tub by themselves, but heating, draining and washing are also available from the owner at an additional cost (€ 150). In connection with the lakeside sauna, there is a terrace with summer kitchen. The summer kitchen has a barbecue and terrace has a table for 6 people. In addition, closer to the lake is a separate campfire site. 38 km ten noorden van Kuusamo, Ruka 13,5 km, Porontimajärvi meer 100 m, roeiboot voor medegebruik. Van hout gebouwd appartement voor 8 personen, bouwjaar 1990, basisvoorzieningen, slaapkamer 1: tweepersoonsbed, slaapkamer 2: stapelbed (onderbed 140 cm), zolder (15 m², lage kamerhoogte, steile trap): 2 bedden, gecombineerde keuken/woonkamer, elektrische sauna. Appartement in goede staat en rustig gelegen. Extra informatie: Fornuis met 2 kookplaten en geïntegreerde oven. De oever is in natuurlijke staat, steenachtig en ondiep, niet geschikt om te zwemmen. Andere afstanden: Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 23 km. Kortste afstand naar het Karhunkierros pad 2,3 km en daar twee verschillende paden: Valtavaara heuvel-Ruka val trail 6 km of 1 kilometer trail naar de Konttainen heuvel. Riisitunturi Nationaal Park 28 km. Reserveringen beginnen om 16.00 uur en eindigen om 12.00 uur (ook in het weekend te boeken).

38km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 14 km, Lake Porontima 100 m, rowing boat in shared use. Log-built apartment for 6, built in 1990, basic amenities, bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: bunk bed (lower bed 140 cm), loft (15 m², low room height, steep stairs): 2 beds, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. When booking both Varila holiday cottages 1 and 2 at the same time, there is accommodation space for up to 8-12 people.

Cozy log cabin by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine. 37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 20 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), hard rocky (also bigger stones) bottom, pier. There is a steep slope down to the shore. There is a nature trail in front of the cabin, descending the slope to the pier, where you can go swimming by stairs. Not child-friendly shore. There is a shallow child-friendly sand beach within 200 m from the cabin (shared with neighboring cabins). The marina, where you can find a rowing boat belonging to the cabin, is 100 meters away. The rowing boat is stored in the harbor due to the rockiness of the beach. A little further from the harbor, you can get a shortcut to the meadow area, where are opportunities for many kinds of activities. Log cabin 2006, living room / kitchen with sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each (one downstairs, another upstairs), sleeping loft with 4 beds, wood-heated sauna, washroom, toilet downstairs and upstairs, covered porch. There is direct access from the sauna to the porch for cooling, the porch has a round log-made table group. The cabin does not have sun loungers. A charger for an electric car is available for an additional fee (in common use with the Puolukka, Mustikka and Lakka cabins). Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations). Please note that there may be weak network connections in the area.

45 km East of Kuusamo, Ruka 40 km, lake Heikinjärvi 10 m, Isokenkäisten Klubi 100 m (www.ikk.fi) sandy/ low beach, shared rowing boat. Log cottage built in 2001, bedrooms 1-2 (upstairs): 3 beds in each. Combined kitchen/living room with sofa bed, electric sauna. Pets are allowed, pet fee covers maximum 2 pets.

70 km north-east of Jyväskylä, L.Liesvesi 25 m (length 8 km, width 1.3 km), shallow, hard sanded clay bottom, own boat. Log chalet 2004, kitchen, large living room covertible sofa, bedroom 3 beds, bedroom 2 beds, utilities room bunk bed (upper bed 175 cm, lower bed 200 cm), dressing room, washroom, sauna (elec. stove), open porch. Cottage has two showers, baking oven, wood-burning stove, and on lake shore a heatable grill tepee (20 m²). In summer, an activities area in yard where games like corona and table tennis can be played.

40 km north of Kolari, lake Äksälompolo 1,5 km, seimming beach 2,5 km. Log-panelled duplex apartment, built 2006. Area 51,5 m² of which 11 m² on the loft. Livingroom/kitchen with extendable bed sofa, one bedroom with two separate beds, loft with 2 separate beds and convertible sofa, electric sauna, shower, separate toilet. Ski maintenance room (ski waxing stand, infra-red heater).

75 km north of Kuopio, L. Suur-Juminen 30 m, (width 1.1 km, length 7 km), shallow, hard sanded moraine bottom, own boat. Roundlog cottage 1996, living room/kitchen, bedroom double bed, upstairs one large room, 2 beds of width 90 cm, 120 cm double bed, two extendable convertible sofa/double bed, sauna, washroom, balcony and 2 open porches. Living room/kitchen has a Nunna baking oven with a glass door, underfloor heating in washroom area. Air source heat pump with cooling function. Wi-Fi. Solar energy system. Lakeshore sauna has been renewed (floor) May/2020. Fish smoking pot on the terrace.

From Helsinki 200 km to the west, Archipelago Sea/Hiittinen/Norrfjärden 50m, shallow hard gently deepening gravel/stony bottom (no pier), own rowing boat. Thickset log house 2017, kitchen and spacious living room, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2 separate beds, bedroom with bunk bed (top bed suitable only for children), washroom (toilet and shower), vestibule, broad terrace. The log house has underfloor heating and air source heat pump (also for cooling). At the beach sauna, with wood-burning stove. Dressing room (sofa bed for 2). A wooden cabin built in 1975, renovated in 2018, kitchen 2 beds, living room spreadable sofa, washroom, shower and WC, sauna (wood-burning sauna stove). Pets are allowed for an extra fee per reservation. The cottage has charging possibility for electric car for extra fee 5€ / day.
