A spacious log house on the shore of Lake Paro, also suitable for a joint vacation for several families. The house is three stories high. The two upper floors house the main living areas of the house, with three bedrooms (bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: single bed, and bedroom 3: double bed), a kitchen, sauna, bathroom, utility room, and two WCs. Access to the ground floor is from the outside. There is a separate apartment with a living room, bedroom (two beds), kitchen, WC, and shower. Additionally, there is a separate beach cabin (available in the summer) with a wood-heated sauna and a fireplace room with a loft (mattress for two). The beach cabin/lakeside sauna has electricity and electric lighting, water must be carried from the lake and heated in a water boiler in the sauna stove. 75 km to the north of Mikkeli, Lake Paro 55 m, no pier, a sandy shallow beach, own rowing boat. The log cabin is 296 m² (built in 1991). Pets are welcome in the house as long as they do not stay on the sofas or beds. The log house is situated on a forested hillside plot with ample space for multiple cars. There is a fixed brick grill by the shore and a campfire site in the yard. The log house boasts spacious terraces with furniture. The surrounding area offers excellent jogging and cycling trails, as well as great opportunities for fishing and berry picking. In winter, there is a snowmobile trail on the lake ice. Charging for electric cars: a standard socket is available for an additional fee, to be arranged with the owner at the beginning of the rental. Approximately 5 km away is Jari-Pekka Joroinen, a 24-hour service station on Highway 5, with Neste MY Renewable Charging station and Fortum Charging Point. In July, Joroinen hosts triathlon competitions, with the starting point about 5 km from the house. Kartano Golf is 8.5 km away in Joroinen.

Rantala Farm cultivates cereals and caraway seeds, some of the fields being scenic rather than productive. Forestry being important to the farmer, there are plenty of opportunities for guests to roam the forests or make use of the logging roads or trails for walks and backpacking. Wild berries and mushrooms can be freely gathered in the forest and the Rantala area is rich in this natural produce. There is a village society tepee on the farm's land where guests are free to go to roast sausages or brew coffee over an open fire. In winter there are 2-8 km long maintained ski trails nearby. At Purnu you can experience the exhilarating speed of downhill skiing. It is also easy to reach the national snowmobile trail network from the cottage. A rowing boat is provided which you can use to fish for fat perch close to the small island, then bring your catch to the barbecue grill on the shore. Right next to the cottage there is excellent berry and mushroom picking terrain, which is also ideal for rambling in general. Water in the tap might have smell/taste of iron. However, it's examined and safe to use as household water. Client can also bring drinking water along. Lighted up ski trail (5 km) 3 km from the house. Slalom slopes of Messilä Holiday Centre 35 km. Owner has ottages 6399, 6400, 6772, 7076. Although cottages are near to each other, there are trees between them. Cottages have have trampoline in common use. Lahti's skiing centre 32 km.

75 km west of Joensuu, Taivallahti canal 100 m, deep bottom, stairs into the water, rowing boat 500 m, possible to get electric ourboard motor. House built in 1974, renovated in the 2000s. Kitchenette, living room, one bedroom on the upper floor, with double bed and single bed for a young person/child. One single bed in the living room. Hall and covered porch. Wi-Fi, separate small TV room. Electric heating, also heating by air conditioner and owen. Separate wooden sauna included in the price. A charcoal grill. Pets are allowed to come to the cottage, but not to lie on couches. Luotsi houses Tyynelä and Lähtevä are located next to each other. Distance between the houses only 10m. Cottage is not suitable for workers. A bright and nicely furnished house, which is located at the Taivallahti canal. In summertime, the canal passes the cruise ship to Valamo monastery. Clients can board to the ship directly at the Taivallahti canal, next to the cottage, by pre-order. Quiet and peaceful location. Nature path leaves from the house to Lintula and Valamo monasteries, distance about 7-8 km to the each monastery. Good possibilities for berry and mushroom picking. Swimming place at the canal 100 m from the cottage. Sandy beach at Varistaipale 2 km from the house. Boat locates in Taivallahti bay, 500 m from the cottage. Excellent fishing opportunities.
