Combined kitchen/living room with electric sauna. Downstairs 80 m², loft 20 m². Water supply from the spring. Additional wood-heated sauna by the pond, dressing room with fireplace and double sofa bed. Tap water come from spring and contains iron, which causes slight harm to the colour and taste of water, but the water is safe to drink (water has been examined). Client can bring drinking water, if he wants. Swimming, Fishing (boat on site), Hiking, Cross Country Skiing all possible from the house. In addition, the spacious, low loft offers accommodation for four (4 low-footed frame mattress beds). Log cabin, 120 m², is located by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine. The cabin is rented all year round. Cozy, fully equipped Karhunluola offers you a pleasant holiday experience surrounded by nature. A large yard allows you many kinds of outdoor activities. 37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 190 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), rocky beach, not suitable for small children, pier. There are steep stairs starting in front of the cabin to the pier. You can swim from the pier (there is a swimming ladder). Due to the rocky bottom, access for swimming from the beach is a bit challenging. The rowing boat is located within 100 m from the cabin. In the same radius, there is also a fine common sand beach (shared with neighboring cabins). The rowing boat is stored on the sand beach due to the rockiness of the beach. Two-storey log cabin 1999, kitchen, living room with sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, upstairs bedroom with 4 beds, sleeping loft with spreadable sofa bed, wood-heated sauna, washroom (WC and shower), covered porch, balcony. The owner offers a hot tub for rent. A charger for an electric car is available for an additional fee (in common use with the Oravanpesä cabin). General information: Cabins owned by Leppäniemi Hirsihuvilat company are located in Hauho, on the shores of the clear-watered and fishy lake Iso-Roine, near the hill Utterinvuori. The company has 13 homely and well-equipped log cabins for year-round use. Space for 120 people. The environment offers excellent outdoor and off-water opportunities. About 40 acres of nature conservation area, private 21-lane disc golf course, berry and mushroom picking possibilities, campfire sites, varied fishing and crayfish catching possibilities (guided tours also available). The 2.5-hectare meadow area between Härkälinna (cabin no. 8426) and the beach has a badminton / volleyball court, some frisbee golf courses and medieval-style competition equipment and facilities that can be used with a guided tour (competition field on request).
