Internet access. There is an air source heat pump and underfloor heating at the cottage, which owner adjusts according to the client's needs.

A cozy log row house, built in 1986, close to activities on the shore of Salmilammi, 27 km from Kuusamo, 3 km from Ruka village. The apartment has a kitchen / livingroom with a fireplace, a low loft of 7 m² with two single beds. Two extra beds from the sofa bed in the living room. Bed places in total 2+2. Toilet/washroom, sauna with electric stove. In summer, the possibility to swim and fish in Salmilampi, a rowing boat is shared by the residents of Porokaarre (life jackets for 2 adults and 2 children). In winter, there is an opening at the end of the pier and the dock route runs on the ice of the pond. All services in Ruka are close by, in winter you can easily get to the slopes with the Skibus right in front, a stop nearby (50 m). The kitchen has a coffee machine and a kettle. Wifi available. A parking space with a heating plug is included in the rent.

170 km north of Rovaniemi, in Levi, in western slope area. Wooden semi-detached house, built in 2005. Living room with sofa, kitchenette, bedroom with double bed (sliding door). Loft with double bed and 2 single beds (widths 80 cm and 120 cm). Sauna, washing room, separate toilet and small covered porch. The kitchen also has coffee and water kettles, an espresso machine (the customer brings the capsules) and a toaster. Available heated storage room/ski maintenance room and a laundry room. In the ski maintenance room there is wax bench and iron. In the laundry room there is washing machine, 2 drying cabinets, as well as ironing facilities. Facilities are shared with the other apartment in the duplex apartment. Entrance to the premises from outside. Cot, high chair and potty are also in shared use with the neighbour. They are available if neighbour apartment has not booked them earlier. Rented only for families and other groups who enjoy peaceful holiday. Puikkokoski (1952), totally renovated 2018, is an idyllic, old lumberjack cottage which is suitable for example as a holiday base for groups or several families in the middle of the purest kind of Kainuu forest landscape. Cottage living area is 194 m², on one level. There has a large 70-seat room with a huge natural stone fireplace. Wide 30 m² terrace. There is a separate kitchen (dinner set for 70 persons). Six bedrooms with bunk-beds, total for 16 persons. There is 3 x indoor WC. From some of the bedrooms entrance to the living room and other common spaces is from outdoors. Behind the cottage is small flowing creek, there located in log wooden sauna (52 m²). Sauna has a spacious living room with fireplace / dressing room, 2 showers, sauna (electric stove) at one time for up to 12 people. Porch / patio area and a separate eco toilet. Possibility of swimming in the stream (distance 3 m), swimming ladder (steep descent into the creek, hard, deep ground). Sauna with cold and hot water + electricity. Extra details: Camp fire, 2 x outdoor toilet. Doghouse.The wood shed and other outbuildings. Car heating plugs (x2). The cabin does not have a TV. From here, it's easy to go on trips to the wells of central Lapland or visit the cultural events of the village. Rowing boat available at the village's boat ramp. Reindeer can usually be seen in the neighbor's reindeer park (at least in winter). 142 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 12 km to the north from the center of Sodankylä, in Sattanen along the village road, view to the stream Sattasjoki, distance from the accommodation 270 m. Due to the regulations, the water level varies and access to the beach is difficult from this point. Public swimming place about a kilometer away. Round log cabin, whose previously built frame was moved to this place in 2010. Modernly equipped cabin. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, on the ground floor bedroom with 120 cm wide bed, on the upper floor a spacious alcove with 2 beds, balcony. Washroom/WC is on the ground floor. Covered terrace with a ramp for a wheelchair. Separate building with sauna includes a steam room (wood-burning sauna stove) and a dressing room. Electric lights in the sauna building and cold water supply in the steam room.
