Cozy log cabin by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine. 37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 20 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), shallow bottom, pier. There is a steep stairs down to the shore in front of the cabin, nature trail to the pier, where you can swim. Near the pier, there is a small sand shore where the smallest members of the family can swim. The shore deepens fast. There is a shallow child-friendly sand beach within 200 m from the cabin (shared with neighboring cabins). The marina, where you can find a rowing boat belonging to the cabin, is 100 meters away. The rowing boat is stored in the harbor due to the rockiness of the beach. A little further from the harbor, you can get a shortcut to the meadow area, where are opportunities for many kinds of activities. Note the stream is not suitable for swimming (natural mud bottom). On the beach there is a campfire place and a porch with a door. A rowing boat is available to get to Sapsojärvi (distance approx. 400 m), if you are boating, please bring your own life jackets. At the end of the stream, at the head of the promontory on the Sapsojärvi side, there is a good sandy swimming spot available (with another cabin), there are old buildings on the beach that are not used by tenants, but you can otherwise use the beach freely. Note there is also a separate shed building, with sleeping loft with alternative beds for 2 (if you want privacy). The use of the shed can be negotiated separately with the maintenance. Shed can be available during the summer.

50 km northwest of Jyväskylä, lake Lannevesi 10 m, hard, gently deepening sand bottom, jetty, own boat. Wooden cottage on two floors, built in 1972, partly renovated in 2017. Living room with two sofa beds, alcove with double bed. Please notice that cottage can be booked maximum for 6 persons. Kitchen, hallway, spacious glazed terrace and outdoor terrace. Fireplace-oven in livingroom. Downstairs sauna with wood-heated stove. Kitchen, toilet and sauna has been remodeled and new washroom has been built in 2017.
