Er kan ook een skibaan zijn op ongeveer 200 m van het huisje. The unique log-built castle offers a wonderful setting for holidays, parties, camps, meetings and other events. 37 km north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 190 m (length 8 km, width 2 km) shallow, child-friendly sand beach shared with other cabins in the area. Log cabin 2006, living room/kitchen 8 extra beds (bunk for 8 persons), bedroom 2 beds, second bedroom 2 beds, sleeping loft 5 extra beds, sauna (electric sauna stove), washroom (2 x shower), open porch, 2 towers. Toilet on the upper floor and ground floor. A separate underground smoke sauna on the hill and hot tub can be rented separately. Charging point for electric car for an additional fee. Pets are allowed in this destination, extra fee will be applied. Price is per pet. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings). Comfortable large Medieval style "castle" on a forested slope. The castle has a well-equipped kitchen (including tableware for 30 people and convection oven). The hall has dining / meeting space with fireplace. For meetings, there is a 42-inch flat-screen TV on the wall and, if ordered separately, a video projector with screen. The two towers of the castle can also be accessed from the outside. Next to the castle there is a lean to shelter, where you can cook by the campfire and fry the salmon. Firewood is included in the price. The yard area of the castle is mainly in a natural state. Please respect the neighbors, as well as others living nearby. The silence is between 22.00 and 7.00. Note! The cabin's textiles and furniture may differ from those, which are shown in the pictures, as the owner changes / updates them as needed. General information: Cabins owned by Leppäniemi Hirsihuvilat company are located in Hauho, on the shores of the clear-watered and fishy lake Iso-Roine, near the hill Utterinvuori. The area has 13 homely and well-equipped log cabins for year-round use. Space for 120 people. The environment offers excellent outdoor and off-water opportunities. About 40 acres of nature conservation area, private 21-lane disc golf course, berry and mushroom picking possibilities, campfire sites, varied fishing and crayfish catching possibilities (guided tours also available). The 2.5-hectare meadow area between Härkälinna (cabin no. 8426) and the beach has a badminton / volleyball court, some frisbee golf courses and medieval-style competition equipment and facilities that can be used with a guided tour (competition field on request). The meadow can be used freely by the guests of 13 cabins. In winter, cross-country ski trails with weather reservation, hole in the ice (for swimming) on request, ice fishing and ice skating. Hauho is easily reachable in the middle of Lahti and Tampere. You can drive from Hämeenlinna in 30 minutes and from Helsinki in 1.5 hours. Ski service room. Apartment doors height of only 180 cm, the height of the apartment in some places lower than normal. Loft is not suitable for accommodation because of lack of emergency exit. Homely log rowhouse apartment in Äkäslompolo village Nilivaara area. Located in a peaceful cottage area. Prices include final cleaning. Bed linen available for rent. Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per reservation (max 2 pets).

17 km north of Mikkeli. Neuhanlampi Pond 15 m (length 1 km, breadth 300 m), shallow water, sandy bottom. Pier and rowing boat. Log cabin 1989, kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, low sleeping loft with 2 beds on mattress, sauna (wood-heated), dressing room, washroom, veranda. Terrace and campfire. Small amount of drinking water delivered by the first day by the owner. More water clients should fetch from the shop 16 km. Tap water in cottage is suitable for all other use. However, it contains iron which might cause smell into it. Parking area about 20 m distance of cottage. There are some level differences and stairs in the yard and it can make it difficult for small children or the elderly to move. Russian speaking person available. 40 km north of Heinola, River Tainionvirta 15 m (length 30 km, width 0.02 km), deep mud shore and 2 jetties, own boat. Log cottage 1989, renovated 2008, living room-kitchen/lounge, bathroom, 2 porches. In upstairs (room height max 170 cm, sloping ceilings) bedroom with 3 beds, bedroom with 1 single bed and convertible sofa, in the lounge double bed. Air-conditioning. 2*TV Separate log-built riverside sauna and room with a fireplace (20 m²) 2005, to swimming shore 30 m, deep mud bottom (2 m deep in the end of jetty), jetty. Sauna, washroom with shower cubicle and WC. Room with fireplace has mini-kitchen, heat-storing fireplace and tv. Wood-fired grill as well as gas grill. Garage and storage building, 1 car space in garage reserved for those renting cottage. Owner rents out a hot tub for extra price. Very neat, high standard cottage on 1.3 ha plot on promontory. Nice view from cottage and from sauna to the river which is lake like. Yard has large lawn, sand, pathways with stone slabs and forest as well as trampoline. In regard to its scenery and location this is one of the best cottage options in Hartola! Opposite shore 0.3 km, 2 neighbouring cottages (holiday cottage exhibition was held in this area in 2004), public fishing jetty 0.5 km. 2 jetties belonging to cottage only. Cottage has a lot of open space indoors. Sleeping areas are upstairs. Wifi. Riverside sauna has patio and wooden walkway to jetty and riverside terrace. Traditional lappish cabin, built in 1993, located in Ylläsjärvi village's Ahvenkangas area for those who seek peace and quiet on their holiday. The ground floor has one bedroom, kitchen and sauna with wood-burning stove. Loft has steep stairs and two mattresses. The closest official starting point of the ski trails is at Ylläsjärvi village, but a couple of kilometers away, the trail goes across Ahvenkangas. The cottage has been painted in June 2024 and a barbecue hut is built in the yard. Pets are allowed for extra charge. No smoking in the cabin. Please note that during winter months Saturday can not be a change day.

60 km west of Tampere. Lake Mouhijärvi 35 m (length 5 km, breadth 1,5 km), shallow water, firm sandy bottom. Own boat. Wooden cabin 1990, renovated 2021, living room/kitchen with convertible sofa, bedroom with 2 beds, sauna, dressing room, open veranda. Outside power point for the car. Slalom slope Ellivuori 35 km. Sunny place, good for children. Crib and high chair available on request (there are 2 cribs and 2 high chairs in a shared use of 3 cottages).

13 km north of Mikkeli, Ekslampi pond 40 m (length 0.3 km, width 0.15 km) hard, deep mud bottom, own boat. A log cabin in 1975, renovated in 1999, kitchen-living room with a double bed (two 1-person beds with a double mattress topper, separate mattress toppers are also available upon prior request), and a convertible sofa bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, terrace. Sauna by the lake 1975 (8 m²), wood-burning stove and heater tank, carrying water from the pond at 5 meters, electric light, terrace. Stairs to the sauna and shore. Sleeping hut 1975 (8 m²) with 2 single beds, electric light, available only in summer June-August. Grillhouse with charcoal grill and wood-burning stove. Outside toilet. Woodshed. Note! On the opposite shore of the pond 250 m away, there is highway no. 5. Log cottage in a forest slope. Because of the slope not suitable for moving disabled or for small children. Possibility for fishing in the pond. Relax in a small two-person cabin in the middle of the beautiful landscapes of Lake Kilpisjärvi. This charming cabin offers cozy accommodations for couples or friends seeking peace and natural beauty. The cabin is divided into two compartments. On one side, there is a comfortable living and sleeping area having convenient spreadable sofa bed that can be converted into two separate 80 cm wide beds. On the other side, you'll find the washroom with shower and a traditional wood-heated sauna. The sauna has a window offering stunning views of the lake and fells. Between these two spaces, there's an additional area that is not heated. Although this area is not heated, it provides a lovely spot to relax by the fireplace with breathtaking views of the lake and fells. Internet connection for an additional fee (contact the owner). Heikinniemi is a nice rental cottage on a large lawn plot. Possibility for horse riding 25 km.
