The bottom of the lake is soft near the shore, and you can access it for swimming from the pier. There is a large landscape window which gives a wonderful view of the fishy Lake Sääjärvi. The well-equipped living room and kitchen are open to the ceiling. In addition there are 2 spacious bedrooms on the ground floor. One with double bed (160 cm) and other with bunk bed (2 x 80 cm). Upstairs a large low loft with 2 beds (80 cm). In addition an utility room. There is no sauna. There is a charcoal grill, which has a smoker and a BBQ grill. The hiking trail is about 7 km long and the terrain varies. Views are beautiful. There are several campfire sites and resting places along the route. About within 500 meters, there is an 8 hectares wide built wetland. There is a bird observation tower, platform and photoshooting and viewing place built in the barn on the wetland. Distance to the wetland is about 500 m from Oriaho and Riihipirtti. There are seen over 100 bird species on the wetland. You can take part in a variety of bird observation activities with us, such as the Battle of the towers and the calculation of winter birds.
