Water in lake Kotkajärvi is clear and clean. Two building complex in a nice location. Log cabin 75 m²: on the ground floor living room, living room/kitchen, bedroom (120 cm wide bed), electric sauna, shower, separate WC. Upper floor: 2 bedrooms, both with two beds. Sofa bed in the lobby. For alternative extra beds there is two mattresses (80 cm x 200 cm). The stairs have child safety gates at both ends. Cottage has been renovated in 2022. Partly covered terrace, gas grill and play house in front of the cabin. An outdoor toilet (composting dry toilet) in addition to indoor toilet. For summer use only (30.4. - 31.10. , depending on weathers): Sauna building 35 m²: Lobby, living room/kitchen, spreadable sofa bed, fireplace, sauna with wood burning sauna stove, no shower. Water comes to sauna from the lake and is heated in a cauldron. Note! The fireplace in the main cabin is not available to guests. However, the fireplace in the sauna building is available during summer. During winter sauna building is not in use. A wood-heated Kirami hot tub for rent (near the sauna building). The owner heats and cleans the hot tub ready for use, the customer heats it on from that. Note! Booking of hot tub must be agreed with the owner at least three days before the start of the holiday. The hot tub can only be rented outside winter time. Other times (if plus Celcius degrees) must be negotiated with the owner separately. Hot tub rent in 2025: 185€ / weekend and 285€ / 1-2 weeks. Paid in cash on arrival (flat rate). 2 SUP boards for rent, 20€/pc for weekend, 40€/pc for 1-2 weeks. Payment on the spot in cash to the owner.

On the shore of Sapsojärvi - on a beautiful promontory, there is a separate log cabin for vacationing and enjoying nature. The cottage was built in 1998, with a living space of 60 m2 + a loft. The living room kitchen has an atmospheric fireplace and dining set for 4-6 people, the living room has a sofa bed as an alternative bed for 1. Downstairs, a separate room with 2 x 80cm beds. 2 x 120 cm beds in the open loft. Access from the loft to the balcony with a view of the stream and the boathouse. In connection with the cabin, a wood-heated sauna, a shower (cabinet), and a separate toilet (access from the washroom and hall). Glazed terrace / porch, from where you can admire the scenery over Lake Sapsojärvi. There is a steep descent to the cottage's own beach, the beach is shallow for a long distance, soft in the deeper parts. On the beach, a natural sand beach. Matala beach is suitable for e.g. for children and water games. For swimming, we recommend the beach at the tip of the promontory (I followed the path for approx. 150 m), where there is a better shallow swimming spot with a sandy bottom. Note the buildings there are not used by tenants. A campfire site in the yard of the cottage.

Kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms (one with double bed, another with 2 single beds), sleeping loft with 2 beds, steep stairs, washroom, sauna, open veranda. Additional fee for dogs 30 eur/dog paid in cash on site. The customer must take care of cleaning the dog's hair.

Kotokatti is a cozy and well-equipped terraced apartment in a quiet area next to the services and excellent outdoor activities of Vuokatti, including a few hundred meters to the first snow track. This 56 m² single-storey apartment offers the ideal setting for an active holiday or unhurried relaxation. The dressing room connected to the bedroom has storage space, and in addition, the spacious hallway has plenty of space for outdoor equipment. From the living room, there is access to a fenced, green and sheltered backyard with a seating set for 2. The backyard is fenced with a net about a meter high, which makes it excellent for pets. When you wake up in the morning, you don't have to go for a walk with your dog right away, but your pet can enjoy the outdoors directly in the backyard. This can also be a happy holiday surprise for your pet! In front of the apartment there is a spacious parking lot with a car heater socket, and in the yard there is also a waste shed with sorting facilities. In addition, there is a swing area suitable for children to play in a park-like environment. Additional comfort is provided by the housing company's shared ski waxing area (at the end of the house) and a cage storage room where you can store hobby equipment.
