The beach is gently deepening, sand bottom on the left side of the pier. At the southern end of the lake, the bottom is softer. In winter the cottage has a mechanically thawed ice hole. The cottage also has a rowing boat and kayak (including buoyancy aids and life jackets) and a place for the barbecue. There are plenty of trails in the area that can be used, e.g. for mountain biking or jogging in nature. At the northern end of the lake, 2 km from the cabin, there is the Pitkäjärvi leisure center, which offers several activities, e.g. camp, event, party and meeting possibilities.
