Log cabin, 120 m², is located by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine. The cabin is rented all year round. Cozy, fully equipped Oravanpesä offers you a pleasant holiday experience surrounded by nature. A large yard allows you many kinds of outdoor activities. 37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 190 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), rocky beach, not suitable for small children, pier. There are steep stairs starting in front of the cabin to the pier. You can swim from the pier (there is a swimming ladder). Due to the rocky bottom, access for swimming from the beach is a bit challenging. The rowing boat is located within 100 m from the cabin. In the same radius, there is also a fine common sand beach (shared with neighboring cabins). The rowing boat is stored on the sand beach due to the rockiness of the beach. Two-storey log cabin 1999, kitchen, living room with sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, upstairs bedroom with 4 beds, sleeping loft with spreadable sofa bed, wood-heated sauna, washroom (WC and shower), covered porch, balcony. The owner offers a hot tub for rent. A charger for an electric car is available for an additional fee (in common use with the Karhunpesä cabin). Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations). The kitchen has a dining table for 8 people. There is direct access from the sauna to the porch for cooling, the porch has a round log-made table group. The cabin does not have sun loungers. At the disposal of guests is also a covered cooking area on the front yard (wood-burning barbecue). Oravanpesä is located on a large lawn area next to another similar rental cabin, Karhunpesä. The distance between the cabins is 40 m, large trees/shrubs grow between. There is also a shared woodshed (firewood for sauna, grill and fireplace - included in the price), children's sandbox and parking (30 m from the cabin). Within 50 m from the cabin, there is a meadow area offering the opportunity for many kinds of activities. The area has a private frisbee golf course with 21 lanes, one disc golf basket is within 30 m from the cabin. Please respect the neighbors, as well as others living nearby. The silence is between 22.00 and 7.00. Note! The cabin's textiles and furniture may differ from those, which are shown in the pictures, as the owner changes / updates them as needed. General information: Cabins owned by Leppäniemi Hirsihuvilat company are located in Hauho, on the shores of the clear-watered and fishy lake Iso-Roine, near the hill Utterinvuori. The company has 13 homely and well-equipped log cabins for year-round use. Space for 120 people. The environment offers excellent outdoor and off-water opportunities. About 40 acres of nature conservation area, private 21-lane disc golf course, berry and mushroom picking possibilities, campfire sites, varied fishing and crayfish catching possibilities (guided tours also available). The 2.5-hectare meadow area between Härkälinna (cabin no. 8426) and the beach has a badminton / volleyball court, some frisbee golf courses and medieval-style competition equipment and facilities that can be used with a guided tour (competition field on request). The meadow can be used freely by the guests of 13 cabins. In winter, cross-country ski trails (if snow situation allows), hole in the ice (for swimming) on request, ice fishing and ice skating. Hauho is easily reachable in the middle of Lahti and Tampere. You can drive from Hämeenlinna in 30 minutes and from Helsinki in 1.5 hours. Brick house (1978), living room with two sofa beds (four extra beds), separate kitchen, four bedrooms, two WC, washroom, sauna. Beds: bedroom 1: double bed and one separate bed, bedroom 2: two beds, bedroom 3: two beds, bedroom 4: two beds, hall on the upper floor: 1 bed and one spare bed for one. There is an outbuilding with two summer use sheds (two beds in both), a garage and a woodshed in the yard. Note! Beds located in the sheds are alternative spare beds. There are several campfire sites and resting places along the route. Within 500 meters, there is an 8 hectares wide built wetland. There is a bird observation tower, platform and photoshooting and viewing place built in the barn on the wetland. Distance to the wetland is about 500 m from Oriaho and Riihipirtti. There is seen 100 bird species in the wetland. You can take part in a variety of bird observation activities with us, such as the Battle of the towers and the calculation of winter birds. Small sauna cottage 2008 (renovated in 2017), living room / kitchen with sofa bed (sofa is 140 cm wide, no other beds), dressing room and sauna. Covered porch with gas grill. Large terrace with hot tub (heated with fuel) for rent. Small separate sleeping cottage in the yard (10 m2). In the cottage there is a double bed (140 cm wide) and toilet. There is no toilet in the cottage itself. The large window facing west gives you an opportunity to adore the beautiful hills and views. This quality cabin offers everything you need for a good vacation. There is no need for a car because all the services are at walking distance. The extensive equipment of the cabin, the fun boardgames, the high-class kitchen and the cozy fireplace invites you to enjoy your vacation! Mandatory final cleaning. Not suitable for people with animal allergy! Located in the middle of Pyhä you can find the 82,5 m2 log cabin built in 2010. Downstairs you can find an open kitchen + living room, a bedroom (with 2x80cm beds), a toilet and the bathroom with a sauna. The entrance to the lovely terrace is from the living room. Upstairs you can find one bedroom (with 2x80cm beds) with a toilet, a tv-area with a sofa bed for 2 persons. There is also a small balcony.
