Enjoy your stay in this beautiful kelo log villa built in 2006, in a peaceful Maahinen area in Äkäslompolo village. The villa has plenty of space even for two families or a holiday among relatives. The ground floor has two bedrooms with beds for two each and the loft has beds for four persons. Four beds on the upper floor are 90 cm wide and one is 120 cm wide (please note that cottage can be booked maximum for 8 persons). Both floors have own toilets. The upper floor is also equipped with a working space for remote work with electric table. Heated maintenance room next to the garage. The plug for the car heater is in the electrical cabinet. Please bring an extension cord. Smoking prohibited. Bed linen available for rent. High chair, potty and children's dishes available, there are baby gates at both ends of the stairs. Pets are allowed for an additional fee, max. 2 pets/reservation. Pets are allowed only in downstairs. In the yard dog enclosure 3 x 4 meters. Inside the enclosure Jämpt's dog kennel. Not suitable for dogs who like digging, the enclosure is not immersed in the ground.

Welcome to the newly built Merikataja cabin, located on the shore of the Bothnian Bay on a private lot of approximately one hectare. The building is divided into two separate sections, allowing for both private and common time to be arranged effortlessly. One section contains a living area, a fireplace, a modern kitchen, and a cozy bedroom with a double bed. In the other section, you can relax in the sauna or by the fireplace, and it can also be used for overnight stays if needed. The cabin features a full-width terrace with stunning westward views of the sea. Large sliding glass doors provide seamless access to the terrace and offer extensive sea views from inside as well. There is a swimming area at the shore, along with a boat and a canoe. During the summer, you can hike, mountain bike, or pick berries in the surrounding forests, while in winter, you can enjoy skiing and snowmobiling directly on the frozen sea. Weekly renters have their own sauna shifts a few evenings a week and can use the sauna freely during the day. Cottage located in village with 6 other cottages (8031-8037). Cottages share shore and 2 jetties. Plots are level, rather steep slope to shore. The cottage is located in a cottage village, so please remember to observe silence between 10 pm and 7 am to guarantee peace with the neighbors. Construction work is being carried out in the area, which may cause occasional disturbances. Good fishing waters, owner rents out boat with outboard motor (15 hp), also outboard motor for rowing boat. Inquiries about extra boats have to be made direct with owner. Great sandy beach. Boat shore and garden swing in shared use with the neighbor cottage are located between this and neighbor cottage.
