Cottage Metsä-Luosto is silver log built cosy and peaceful cottage and located in the walking distance from the services in Luosto. Location is peaceful by the pond Ahvenlampi. Cottage is suitable for meetings and family parties as well as for business use. There are 8 double bedrooms, additionally convertible sofas in three of these bedrooms. Kitchen, separate dining room, big living room, 4 toilets with shower. Drying cabinet in the hall. In the kitchen there are 2 big refridgerators, freezer and dishwasher. Electric heated, spacious (80 m²) lake-side sauna in the separate building, 3 showers and toilet. Metsä-Luosto is protected as a valuable building heritage site. Its old part was built in 1975. The model was the old forestry cabins, so the room distribution is in accordance with them. The goal of the design has been to combine a modest, nature-friendly exterior with the interiors of its time. The accommodation wing was built in the mid-1970s, and the beach sauna and outbuildings in the 1980s. The rooms in the accommodation wing do not have mechanical ventilation, only ventilation windows. To ensure good air quality, the customer should open the ventilation window whenever necessary. Charging an electric car is not permitted without agreeing on terms/additional fees with the owner. In Pyhä-Luosto area there are plenty of things to do (for example hiking, skiing) and also guided tours are available. There is no grill, but it is about 80 m to the common open shelter with campfire. Meal services available from the restaurants in the area, for example Restaurant Punakettu / Red Fox (www.punakettu.fi/en). The cabin can be reached by car during the whole year.
