Road Lappeenrannantie (no. 13) runs behind the lake, 1 km away, traffic can be seen and heard. Cottage is located in a quiet location, middle of the countryside, surrounded by a private nature reserve of 5.28 ha. Own shoreline 430 m. Note: to use the engine in the boat is prohibited. Cottage has water pipe, but drinking water needs to bring along. Mokko is a cozy little house located in idyllic Kierinki village, which is in a nationally significant landscape area in Central Lapland. Kierinki is one of the few villages saved from the devastation of war in Lapland. There are services like village shop, café, art gallery, private restaurant, small hotel, holiday apartments, program service companies offering nature experiences and snowmobile rental. 112 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 65 km to the southwest from Sodankylä municipality center in Kierinki village milieu. Wooden house, originally built in 1962, renovated and renewed in 2012. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 motorized beds, second bedroom with bunk bed (2x70cm). Sauna, washroom, separate WC, cellar (access from inside the house) and a covered and partially glazed terrace. The cabin is heated primarily with electric radiators and an air source heat pump. A wood-burning baking oven and a wood stove are secondary and mainly sources of heat that bring comfort. Guests can use a 7-speed women's bike and a 24-speed men's bike, sport and traditional propeller, poles and snowshoes. The snowmobile trail network passes through the village shop. There is a fuel sales in the village shop. Therefore, this destination is ideal for snowmobilers. Several other activities available like hunting/fishing and organized excursions (for example snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and fishing trips). Snowmobile safaris and guided ice fishing trips can also be booked from the owner. The swimming beach, fireplace and lean-to shelter maintained by the village association on Riipijoki, distance 1 km. The restaurant next to the village shop is a cozy and private restaurant named Hietalan talo, which serves Lappish food in an authentic and atmospheric milieu. There are also many cultural events arranged in the village (www.kierinki.com). 100 m² artist studio/art exhibition space (for working and holding an exhibition) can be booked from the owner of the cabin. The studio is approx. 500 m from the cabin, near the riverbank, in the middle of the village. The space is heated by electricity, gas and a stove. There is no water pipe, but the owner takes care of the water. Outdoor toilet in the yard. Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands, 2613 Maunu (see www.eraluvat.fi) within 15 km distance. Other hunting destinations 3606 Vasaselkä and 3617 Pomo-Rajala can be easily reached too. Fishing: Fishing in lakes (including large and fishy lake Unarinjärvi) is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information, see www.eraluvat.fi. Large plot, with own jetty and grill at end of avenue of birches. Sauna shore ideal for children, but shore with jetty is basically for adults. Pätiälä Manor is located in a typical Finnish cultural landscape in southern Finland right on the shore of Lake Päijänne, 35 km north of the city of Lahti. Idyllic Vääksy, the area's services centre, is situated only 10 km away, while it is no more than a 6-km journey to the naturally beautiful Pulkkilanharju, which is an 8-km long ridge-like esker looking like a bridge crossing L. Päijänne. Pätiälä manor is an old family home practising traditional agriculture and forestry. Three of Päijänne's bays thrust into the manorlands. The first mention of the estate dates back to the 1400s. Furthermore, the manor's lands have yielded a valuable Viking coin hoard from around the 1000s%3B this comprised 360 coins of various nationalities. This semi-detached log apartment in Levi offers a cozy atmosphere in the peaceful area of Levijärvi. It's a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy your vacation. The distance to Levijärvi beach is 200 m, which is a peaceful public beach. The apartment, built in 1991, provides space for the whole family or a group of friends, and pets are welcome for an additional fee. The bedroom features two beds, while the living room includes a sofa bed for extra guests. Additionally, there are two additional beds and mattresses in the loft, accessed by steep stairs, so guests should be mindful while moving around. The apartment also features a sauna, a bathroom, and a dressing area. The WC is separate. In connection with the covered terrace, there is a locked storage room where you can store e.g. downhill skis during your stay (the keys are in the coat rack next to the front door). We also have firewood in stock. A children's set (travel crib, bed linen, potty, step stool, and high chair) is available for rent on-site. The closest ski slope is Eturinne in the center, 3.2 km away. Other diverse restaurant, shop, and activity services in Levi Center are 2.8–3.5 km away. 20 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 7 km, Mustalampi pond 50 m, shallow sandy bottom beach, pier. Length of the beach is about 60 m and it's in shared use with 3 other cottages. Rowing boat, 2 canoes and pedal boat in shared use. Log cottage, built in 1988. 2 bedrooms: one with double bed, another with 2 beds. Loft: 1 bed + 6 mattresses, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. Downstairs 96 m², loft 35 m². Pets allowed at extra fee. Other Mustalampi cottages in the area. Cottage is located on the slope and stairs lead to the beach. Caravan or motorhome allowed for extra accommodation, payment 10 / booking period (payment to be agreed with the owner). Own grill hut. Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 28km, Riisitunturi Fell 34km.
